Gwyneth Paltrow launches her first all-natural fragrance under Goop
Here’s a fragrance made of all-natural, non-toxic ingredients – the GP way.
It’s no secret that big screen actress Gwyneth Paltrow has dipped her toes into fashion design, recently launching her clothing line in September. Now, she’s taken her ambitions a step further and announced the release of a new fragrance line to the Goop label. Visitors to goop.com will see the first edition – Edition 01 – Winter 2016 – now available exclusively on the website. Described as “a perfume of cypress smoke, snow, sensual quiet”, the fragrance is made entirely of all-natural, non-toxic essences and ingredients.
“Because of our commitment to clean beauty and transparency, we list every ingredient in our fragrance,” Paltrow has revealed. “We’re proud of our ingredients: They’re not only non-toxic and safe; they also have many healing properties.”
The fragrance is available as an eau de parfum and a scented candle, both of which boast delightfully minimalist designs and packaging. The scent itself is said to “evoke coziness, that warming quality in winter of being beside a crackling fire,” according to Paltrow.
Goop plans to launch fragrances each season, the next of which is scheduled for spring of next year.
