Beauty Review: Mamonde’s Hydro Floral Range

Marie France Asia’s beauty writer Lim Han tries out Mamonde’s Floral Hydro Range and shares her results.

Pamper your face with Mamonde’s Hydro Floral Range

Delving right into the world of healing botanicals, Mamonde has harnessed the power of wondrous florals to spoil us silly with their spectacular new range. Meet the mesmerising flower that has sparked all inspiration – the Narcissus flower, also known to us as the daffodil. This dainty flower brags of a deceivingly delicate appearance, which bears no testament to its sheer resilience and strength, as it stubbornly stores moisture during the driest and harshest winters.

Expect this same aptitude for retaining moisture to be found in Mamonde’s Floral Hydro Range, as each product is fortified with Narcissus bulb extract. Extracted by a natural, eco-friendly method at room temperature, the Narcissus water traps all of its rich goodness and fresh energy, while ensuring that minimal damage is done to vital ingredients. Not only does it possess a knack for moisture storage, it even enhances moisture circulation within the skin. Expect an intensely deep hydration with one swipe of any of their products on your skin, which will grant your skin a youthful glow that promises to last throughout the day.

Our Verdict

Floral Hydro Ampoule Toner

To be frank, toners were total strangers to my skincare routine. I rarely used one because toning seemed like an extra frivolous step that wouldn’t make a monumental difference to my skin. But, after trying out Mamonde’s Floral Hydro Ampoule Toner, my mindset has had a 180-degree turnaround.

I was half-expecting a toner of a liquid consistency to spurt out of the pump, similar to the ones of my sisters’. Instead, I was pleasantly greeted by its gel-like consistency, which made it a real dream to work with. After applying it onto my face, my skin felt deeply hydrated and even flaunted a fresh suppleness. Even when I woke up the next morning, my skin still retained its moisture and felt totally invigorated.

Floral Hydro Cream

After applying the Floral Hydro Ampoule Toner, I then proceeded to tackle the Floral Hydro Cream. Now, my skin steers towards the oily side, so moisturising is a key component in my routine in order to prevent excessive production of oil. However, I sometimes chance upon moisturisers with a cloying finish, leaving my face feeling like an excessively dewy canvas.

Thankfully, the Floral Hydro Cream was nothing like that. Viscous yet lightweight, my skin absorbed it almost instantly when I spread it across my face. It left behind a soothing cooling sensation and light dewiness that felt anything but sticky. Not only that, it emanated a subdued delightful fragrance that didn’t smell in the least bit artificial. Like the toner, the hydro cream sealed in my skin’s moisture throughout the night, lavishing me with lusciously smooth skin the next morning.

So, if you’re thinking of revamping your skincare routine or you’re simply keen in Mamonde’s products, hesitate no longer and experience the magic of Mamonde’s Floral Hydro Range for yourself.

The Mamonde Floral Hydro Range is now available on Lazada Singapore.
