Sephora’s new limited-edition lipstick helps support underprivileged women in Singapore
updated the 29 June 2018 à 17:03Giving back: Sephora bands together with women’s charity Daughters Of Tomorrow to empower women in underprivileged situations.
As part of its 10th birthday celebrations this year, Sephora Singapore has partnered with Daughters Of Tomorrow, a charity whose mission is to facilitate livelihood opportunities for underprivileged women, and to empower them in building financially independent and resilient families.
About Daughters Of Tomorrow
More than 25,000 women from low-income families in Singapore are struggling to find and sustain a living, and the Daughters of Tomorrow are constantly working towards making their lives easier.
Some of the objectives of the Daughters Of Tomorrow charity include: helping underprivileged women with skill-building and access to jobs that are right for them so that they can become financially independent, reducing the number of families living in poverty in Singapore, and encouraging the building of a socially integrative employment culture in Singapore.
Green, Glamorous, and Giving
Starting from 28th June 2018, all proceeds from the sale of Sephora Collection Lipstories Lipstick in Shade #22 will go towards Daughters Of Tomorrow in their objectives. That’s not the only heartwarming news – this limited-edition lipstick is sustainable as well! Encased in an eco-responsible packaging that uses less plastic and more paper, a rotating mechanism that doesn’t use glue or silicone, and 0% metal, this is one green, glamorous, and giving lipstick.
The Sephora Collection Lipstories Shade #22 is available across all stores island-wide, on Sephora.sg, as well as on the Sephora Singapore app. Each lipstick retails at SGD13.
