Come 9 July, head on over to The Working Capitol to learn all about taking charge of both your fitness and finances with experts in the field.

We’ve heard the adage, ‘Health is Wealth’ repeated to us many times over when we were kids – further emphasised whenever we were gorging on unhealthy snacks of course – but we’ve never quite noticed the consequences of not heeding it till today. For the uninitiated, the idea behind the phrase is that while you may be in a really good position career wise, if your health is far from ideal then you won’t exactly be living a fulfilling life either.

So let’s own up to it, more often than not, we tend to shift the blame to work or establishing careers for not placing enough attention on our health. Essentially, health and fitness takes a back seat in our crunch to climb the corporate ladder – if only that climb was a physically literal one no?

Well, there’s no reason that either health or career should take the fall for each other. There are ways to be on top of both and the folks over at Girls On Top will show you just how. Every month, Girls On Top will be hosting an empowering event with different themes and subjects. This month, the event entitled, Health is Wealth will see two fitness and finance experts dole out a good dose of sound advice.

The two guest speakers include, Rachel Forbes, Senior Financial Consultant from International Financial Services and Citira Corrigan, Personal Trainer from Ozfit-Ufit Bootcamps Singapore. So whether you need a little push in the fitness department or aid in managing your finances, you’ll be able to leave the event feeling all ready to take charge of the two biggest domains in your life, and stay well ahead of the curve.

In addition you get to mingle and interact with other like-minded individuals and who knows you might even form a good enough network to go on that finance and fitness journey together. After all, it’s always better to embark on something new with a good support group pushing you on.

Once you’ve mastered all the fitness and finance knowledge, don’t forget to stick around for a chance at grabbing one of 50 sample bags from the latest beauty box service, Preloot. If you’ve yet to hear, Preloot is the newest and a distinctive online beauty sampling service, which allows beauty enthusiasts to sample beauty products of all kinds without committing to a subscription. Current brands include, SoapLah, Katfood, Basic Theory, Eco Cosmetics and Siam Botanicals.

Finally, if you thought this was it, think again. For the coming months ahead, Marie France Asia will be partnering with Girls On Top as an official media partner (as with this event) in what will be a series of networking events, crafted just for women.

Now, who run the world? Girls. Enough said.

The Health is Wealth event will be taking place on 9 July at The Working Capitol, 1 Keong Saik Street from 7pm onwards. 50 Sample bags from Preloot will also be given away to lucky guests. Mingle with WYLD Shop owner Kara Bensley, and view items from Vamastyle’s new TROPICALE Resort & Swim collection, priced from SGD50 – SGD225 now at www.theWYLDshop.com. To RSVP click here.
