If there’s one trend we picked up at runways of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia 2016 over the past few days, it’s shades of black and white. Monochrome outfits seem to be all the rage right now, and for good reason. Here’s why you should be picking monochrome colours this season:
The colour scheme looks professional – Not only does a black and white ensemble look ultra-chic, it could play in your favour when heading to the office. The colours have long been associated with classic suit-and-tie looks. At work, you will be the epitome of class and exude a no-nonsense kind of aura that will make your co-workers take you seriously.
It matches with anything and everything – This goes without saying. The neutral tones of monochrome wardrobe pieces will allow you the freedom of pairing them up with all sorts of wilder hues. Pair a white blouse with a black skirt and perhaps a loud pair of scarlet heels or a bright orange tote.
