The English luxury brand sure has a vein of comedy in them as evident in their latest holiday campaign.

When we think of Mulberry, the luxury brand that prides itself for its English heritage, tongue-in-cheek doesn’t quite come to mind. Which is why their Christmas film this year is pure comedic genius.

By taking inspiration from the British tradition of creating nativity scenes, often seen in schools and malls, the award-winning adam&eveDDB created this short film to celebrate the sheer joy of gifting a Mulberry bag at Christmas. It all starts off fairly normal with the wife unwrapping a present from her husband, before she erupts in incredible glee as she spots the Mulberry Bayswater in a brilliant shade of red. As she begins to express her joy, unexpected guests – two shepherds and three crowned men – stream in to partake in the excitement of the new bag. If that doesn’t sound all too familiar, then watch the film and we bet the similarities will come rushing in.

Now, who else is looking to give the gift of a Mulberry?
