Gucci chooses Chinese actress and singer Li BingBing to star as the face of their upcoming eyewear campaigns
You may know Li BingBing from her recent roles in Resident Evil: Retribution and the upcoming Transforms: Age of Extinction. But this time, the Chinese actress is replacing her movie scripts for a pair of sunglasses as she become the face of Gucci’s eyewear campaigns.
Li will star in two upcoming campaigns, Gucci’s bamboo and Diamantissma. The campaign images will show the actress rocking a sleek hairstyle paired with a mysterious deep red lip.
Bamboo Sunglasses and Frames: Faithful to Gucci’s traditions, the bamboo glasses are making a comeback this year in the form of two new eyewear models. The square shaped sunglasses and the rectangular optical frames will carry natural bamboo details that have been in Gucci’s blood since 1947. With the desire to commit to good environmental practice, the brand uses bio-based acetate; reducing your carbon foot print one eye at a time!
Diamantissma sunglasses: Inspired by the Diamante canvas, the oversized round-shaped sunglasses feature a criss-cross designer, connected with small diamonds – the perfect glasses to add to your beach bag for your next va-cay!
The Gucci Bamboo and Diamantissima sunglasses collection are available at all Gucci boutiques and selected high-end opticians.
