Known for its subtle charm and versatility, forget diamonds – we say an LBD is undoubtedly every girl’s best friend.
While the appeal of an LBD is in its simplicity, that should not stop you from accessorising it. Simple yet chic, what this iconic dress is to girls is analogous to what a blank canvas is to painters; A blank untainted sheet for one to exercise their freedom of expression through their style choices be it through their arm candy, show-stopping nail colours or bold footwear.
With a basic LBD, the styling possibilities are infinite. Pop a scarf over your head for a lazy snug day ahead, or display the anti-establishment with ripped tights followed by elements of leather, vinyl and studs. Preferably some velvet for that added grunge effect as well. Don’t be afraid to make full use of LBD’s extensive vocabulary to take on different persona. Just go wild experimenting!
