Noshery
Noshery is very green. Nosh, after a perfunctory Google search, means to eat or to snack on. Fittingly, the design of the place truly stimulates the urge to snack. The interiors are cool to the eye and the food is refreshing to the palate. You get the feeling that the whole thing has been well thought of. It helps that the lush surroundings make people relax and enjoy their meals all the more. The nature-inspired theme blends well with the earthy furniture and vintage décor. There’s even an alfresco area to get you closer to nature.

Cake Spade
Cake Spade uses sweetness sparingly—in its décor as well as confections. Black and white serve to balance the syrupy pink accents of the café. The recognizable grid-like patterns of their tables also lends itself perfectly for flat lay food posts by their customers. The colourful confections effortlessly stand out in its monochromatic environment, as if to say “our shop is pretty and all, but you’ve got to try the cakes”.

CreatureS
CreatureS café is a coffee shop-cum-date place. It’s cosy and intimate without being intimidating. The classic wooden shutters on its floor-to-ceiling arched windows lend a charmingly old-fashioned feel to the place. Apart from coffee, its menu caters to different palates with its offering of both Western and Asian cuisine.

My Awesome Cafe
Don’t be turned off by the self-aggrandising name. My Awesome Cafe is, in fact, awesome. The irony is, there’s absolutely no air of arrogance in its design at all. The furniture and décor of this café are mostly made up of upcycled materials which give the place a gritty and raw appeal. Quite fittingly, their menu also reflects this unpolished yet elegant design with local flavours and organic offerings to take you back to your roots.

The Coffee Academics
The nerdy café lives up to its name, not just in terms of its design, but also its underlying concept of being the purveyor and roaster of specialty coffee. The Coffee Academics looks like a cross between an office space and a laboratory. The large, open area gives customers a lot of room to breathe, mimicking the encouraging atmosphere of a classroom geared towards educating while also giving students the freedom to find inspiration. It’s the perfect place for both coffee and ideas to percolate.

A.R.C. Coffee
This 3-storey coffee shop takes coffee seriously. Proof of this is the presence of an Academy, a Roastery, and Café in their establishment—hence the name. It’s no surprise, then, that coffee aficionados flock to A.R.C Coffee for their coffee fix. For the less savvy coffee consumer, there are other draws to the place. Not only will you come out better informed about your brews, you’d also appreciate its stark white-bricked walls and the warm glow of the incandescent bulbs at night. The huge mural by artist Yip Yew Chong outside has also been photographed quite a lot.

Karafuru Desserts
Karafuru Desserts is rooted in Japanese traditions. As such, the décor is sparse and minimalist, the real stars being the meticulously crafted and tremendously tasty eclairs. The mostly white interiors are complemented by wooden furniture, glass panels, and great lighting. Its washed out visual appeal ensures perfectly lit photographs for your feed. If there’s a saying that perfectly encapsulates the place, it’s that “less is more.”

With Open Farm Community, it’s not so much the decoration but its natural surroundings that make it a beautiful.
