Best Flights: Majority of the world’s “most loved” airlines are from Asia
In the top 15 positions, Asian airlines make up more than 70% of Skytrax’s Most Loved Airlines list.
Planning a trip out out of the country anytime soon? Skytrax has revealed the world’s Most Loved Airlines based on its customer reviews, and the results are definitely surprising. The international air travel rating organisation, which features over 420 airlines worldwide, had its customers rate flights across a range of categories including onboard services, food and beverages, in-flight entertainment, seat comfort, and value for money. And these reviewers have had their say: Asian airlines take the cake.
In the top 15 positions, 11 are Asian carriers, with Garuda Indonesia topping the chart with a customer satisfaction score of 85%, followed by Asiana Airlines (83%) and EVA Air (81%). And while Greece’s Aegean Airlines took fourth place, the next seven airlines that follow are Asian carriers. The only North American airline represented in the top 15 is Virgin America, taking the last spot.
