The popularity of sustainable, ethically-sourced clothing<\/a> is booming now more than ever, and Pomelo has joined in on the conversation. Pomelo will be launching its 12-piece collection Purpose<\/strong> on June 13. Crafted from eco-friendly fabrics sustainably sourced fabrics, the collection comprises of a range of denim jackets and kimonos, tees, tote bags, and a dress.<\/p>

The fabrics are also crafted impeccably by 218 happily-employed women, many of whom are the breadwinners of their respective families. The brand's new initiative pledges to continuously support such factories and their ethical practices even beyond this line through a community-focused production system.<\/p>

Through Purpose, Pomelo also aims to promote recycling by offering a complimentary pick-up service that allows customers in Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia to send up to 5 kilos of clothes to a charity organisation making it even easier to donate used clothes from the convenience of their home.<\/p>

In fact, Pomelo has partnered up with local non-profit organizations including the Singapore Council of Women\u2019s Organizations and AG Home so that the clothes are delivered to those who need them most. Customers will be able to enjoy this service simply by scanning the QR code on the item using the Pomelo App, book a time and location and a messenger will pick up the used clothes.<\/p>
