Now, this one's for the gourmands: The World Gourmet Summit (WGS)<\/a> 2018<\/strong>, Asia's most highly-anticipated food and wine festival, returns to Singapore for its 22nd edition this April.<\/p>

This year, the festival takes on the \"The Discovery WGS\" theme, which explores lesser-known cuisines from around the globe. These cuisines will be presented to diners by a distinguished line-up of both veteran and up-and-coming culinary stars from countries across Asia, Eastern and Central Europe<\/a> and America<\/a>.<\/p>

As part of the festival, there will also be a delightful line-up of gourmet affairs, masterclasses, events and exclusive WGS menus across award-winning and popular dining establishments in Singapore.<\/p>

Among some of the legends and masterchefs coming to our shore are Raymond Blanc, Kevin Thornton (the first chef in Ireland to be awarded two Michelin-stars); Patrizia di Benedetto (first and only female Sicilian chef to be awarded a Michelin-star); Akira Back (Korean-American chef famous for its Asian-American fusion food twists<\/a>), and more.<\/p>

Diners and festival-goers will also have a taste of some of the world's biggest food trends and trending cuisines from Juan Pablo (Hispanic and Mexican food expert) and Csaba Harmath (Hungarian food and wine expert). Needless to say - gear up for a mouthwatering culinary adventure this April!<\/p>
