With its colourful parade of Jackie Kennedy clones in her iconic tweed skirt suit and pillbox hat (a la<\/em> Moschino), models carrying their own identical head replicas (Gucci), Milan Fashion Week<\/a> Fall 2018 certainly kicked off on a high note and left us giddy with anticipation.<\/p>

And just when you thought it couldn't get any more over-the-top than it did, Milan Fashion Week concluded its season's collections on a literal high with Dolce & Gabbana<\/a>\u00a0swapping its models for drones that flew\u00a0its designer purses<\/a> down the runway - proving why the city continues to be an unapologetic game-changer in the fashion world.<\/p>

Carrying off from the buzz surrounding their earlier shows, the weekend saw us delighting at the likes of Roberto Cavalli, Etro, Versace; Ferragamo, Giorgio Armani, Missoni, Jill Sander, Marni, Tommy Hilfiger and Dolce & Gabbana.<\/p>

There was a nod to menswear<\/a> everywhere with oversized blazers; bold prints and ostentatious colours (a refreshing departure from traditional muted fall colours); poncho-style coats; Peruvian influences, and more.<\/p>

And if the arresting slew of designs weren't reasons enough to fall in love with, Milan also wins major points in our books for its continued efforts towards diversity<\/a>. Yes, despite the controversial turbans we saw during Gucci's show, we applaud the ethnic representation on the runway - and not just as a 'token minority model' either. Prada, for one, had its first ever black model open its show in over 20 years since Naomi Campbell<\/a> in 1997.<\/p>
