Entering the threshold of October has brought many things: whether it's Halloween or\u00a0the Mooncake Festival<\/a>, this month plays host to a slew of hubbub and commotion. Incidentally, the beginning of the tenth month gives way to another prestigious celebration: Deepavali<\/strong>.<\/p>

Distinguished as an auspicious time for Hindus, Deepavali is celebrated to spiritually symbolise the ultimate triumph of good over evil; hence aptly named the 'Festival of the Lights<\/strong><\/a>' due to the devout belief of the light's prevalence over darkness.<\/p>

During this festive season, one can expect fragrant flower garlands, exquisite Henna<\/em> designs, Rangoli<\/em> patterns and of course, the symbolic oil lamps. However, if there's one thing we are looking forward to, it would be the sugary<\/a> Deepavali treats! As self-proclaimed gluttons, the very thought of saccharine Ladoo<\/em> balls, mouth-watering Gulab Jamun<\/em> and creamy Kheer<\/em> pudding, has us foaming at the mouth!<\/p>
