Elated? You bet we are.<\/p> <p>Founded in 2010 by chef Daniel Shemtob, The Lime Truck started with a single truck but has since expanded to three restaurants and five food trucks across Southern California. Its brick-and-mortar stall at Pasarbella marks its first overseas venture.<\/p> <p>One thing that is impressed us right away was The Lime Truck's philosophy to the food they prepare: that food should be accessible, affordable and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/food\/hot-spots\/recommended-spots\/farm-to-table-restaurants-sg-254430.html\">sustainably sourced fresh ingredients<\/a>. And boy, do they deliver. Get this: every tortilla is <em>made from scratch. <\/em>Deciding that\u00a0the locally supplied tortillas in Singapore weren't up to par, Daniel devoted two months developing the ideal tortilla recipe so that the Pasarbella kiosk can make them from scratch!<\/p>  <p><span style=\"display: block;\" class=\"wrap-img\" id=\"wrap-img-274398\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" itemprop=\"thumbnailUrl\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-274398 img-responsive  alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2017\/09\/potato-taco-beef-rib-taco-_the-gringo_-and-slow-braised-pork-belly-taco-1-400x600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"600\" \/><\/span><\/p>                 <p>Fresh, handmade <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/food\/hot-spots\/recommended-spots\/best-mexican-restaurants-kuala-lumpur-226616.html#item=1\">tacos <\/a>take centerstage on their menu, with scrumptious offerings like the <strong>No#1 Sweet &amp; Spicy Steak Taco (SGD4.60)<\/strong>, <strong>Slow Braised Pork Belly Taco (SGD4) and\u00a0 Fried Chicky Taco (SGD4).\u00a0<\/strong>Customers can also opt for their\u00a0<strong>Rice or Salad Bowls\u00a0<\/strong>with their preferred choice of protein. The Rice Bowl\u00a0is served with The Lime Truck\u2019s signature green rice, assorted pickled vegetables, wontons and furikake, while the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/food\/hot-spots\/recommended-spots\/best-salad-bars-kl-219313.html\">Salad Bowl <\/a>is served\u00a0with tostada shell, mixed greens, avocado and corn pico.<\/p> <p>Besides tacos, there is also a delicious selection of sides (SGD3.90 each) that include '<strong>Elote<\/strong>' (a Mexican street corn dish), <strong>Chicken Skins<\/strong> (we highly recommend this!) and <strong>Brussels Sprouts<\/strong>. And of course, all hearty meals are made sweeter when they're <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/food\/hot-spots\/recommended-spots\/new-dessert-places-sg-259366.html\">topped off with dessert<\/a>, so give their <strong>churros<\/strong> a go. They're available two flavours: Cinammon (SGD5.90) and Matcha (SGD6.90).<\/p> <p>With its commitment to fresh ingredients, vibrant flavours and at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/food\/hot-spots\/recommended-spots\/michelin-star-restaurants-asia-211701.html#item=1\">wallet-friendly prices <\/a>too, The Lime Truck might just be giving the other taco spots in Singapore a run (or roll, if you will) for their money.
