On his many travels, Gaston-Louis Vuitton used to collect hotel and airline stickers, and always took a fascination to the labels on luggages and trunks<\/a> he saw, as he felt it was telling of the owner and the adventures they had been on. It was this spirit of wanderlust that was the main inspiration behind the new Louis Vuitton<\/a> Monogram World Tour Collection<\/strong>.<\/p>

Creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere has transposed this tradition of travel stickers on the classic Louis Vuitton Monogram icons<\/a>, from its classic city bag Speedy to the LV55 watch and the P\u00e9gase suitcase. The stickers feature\u00a0dynamic cosmopolitan cities like Tokyo<\/a>, Paris and Milan, or paintings from the Hyper Realistic Movement. This collection is a fun, playful take on the classic Monogram series and a great way to pay homage to the design house's long-standing association with travel.
