For one full month, from <strong>7 September to 7 October<\/strong>, Artisan Boulangerie Co. (ABC) will be teaming up with the Children\u2019s Cancer Foundation (CCF) to launch two specially designed CCF-inspired pastries.<strong> 70% of the proceeds will be donated to CCF<\/strong>, and used to help fund everything from casework and counselling services for children and families affected by cancer, to art and play therapy for sick children. Whoever thought that just by sating your desire for a tasty snack, you could be helping to provide much-needed support for children and their families battling against cancer?<\/p> <p>On offer are two brand-new artisanal pastries, both baked fresh daily. Modelled after the Lyonese praline viennoiseries, the <em>Compassion Swirl<\/em> comprises a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/food\/hot-spots\/recommended-spots\/healthy-eating-restaurants-cafes-singapore-200057.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">crisp, flaky croissant dough<\/a>, topped with a vanilla cream and finished with a sprinkle of roasted almonds rolled in caramelised sugar. If \u00e9clairs are more your thing, the <em>Hope \u00c9clair<\/em> takes the classic \u00e9clair choux shell to another level with a fragrant lemon cream filling, lemon fondant topping, and candied mini flower decor reminiscent of the CCF tulips.<\/p> <p>Though the pastries are only on offer at select ABC outlets (Killiney, Great World City, Asia Square, Metropolis, VivoCity and Katong), pre-orders and deliveries can be made by contacting <em>events@artisanbakery.com.sg<\/em>.<\/p> <p>So, while your justification for eating a bag of cookies at lunch because you missed your train that morning might not hold up to scrutiny, nobody can question your indulgence in the name of charity!
