If you've heard the heartwarming 2001 National Day Parade theme song Where I Belong<\/em>, you'd know her honey-sweet voice. Gorgeous Singaporean singer-songwriter<\/a>\u00a0Tanya Chua, now 41, has been lauded several times over for her vocal prowess and soul-stirring sound. Most notably, she has achieved the impressive status of being a 3-time Best Female Vocalist Golden Melody Award Winner - a praiseworthy triumph if we do say so ourselves.<\/p>

While Tanya began her career singing English songs, debuting with her album Bored<\/em> in 1997, the artiste is most famous for her Mandarin songs. Her penchant for singing in Mandarin eventually prompted her to move to Taiwan<\/a> in 2006 in order to focus her efforts<\/a> on the Chinese music industry. However, we\u2019d like to say that no matter what language her lyrics are in, her sultry voice manages to capture emotion beautifully.<\/p>
