There are many golden beauty<\/a> rules out there and one question has always been on the mind of many beauty enthusiasts \u2013 can I\u00a0match my lipstick to my dress of the day?<\/p>

The answer is yes! However we do not recommend going for an exact match lest it looks too overly coordinated. Try finding a lip colour that is a shade darker than your clothes for starters. If you\u2019re having difficulties, try using a stain<\/a> which will give you that hint of colour without looking as though you\u2019ve tried too much.<\/p>

When matching your lipstick to your outfit, it is highly important to take note of the lip product's finish. You do not want a stark matte red lip to be paired with a plain ol\u2019 LBD as it may appear to be one-dimension. Add a pop of colour and texture by choosing a glossy red<\/a> shade instead.<\/p>
