People tend to overlook the process of cleansing because it\u2019s so simple, but clean skin is the very foundation to great skin. To get it, you've got to build to from the feet up. There is no compromising; you have to make a religion and ritual of cleansing your skin.<\/p>

The holy grail of cleansers is the balm type cleanser. As the name suggests, these formulas have a thick consistency, but melt and liquefy when it touches your skin like butter.<\/p>

Cleansing balms are usually oil, beeswax or mud-based and contain a host of nourishing ingredients like minerals, plant oils and antioxidants. Contrary to what you might think, creamy balm cleansers are suitable for all skin types, including<\/strong> oily skin. It won't leave oily skin greasy, but give it an after-facial glow.<\/p>

For sensitive and dry skin, balm cleansers are a god-sent. They melt away makeup, even waterproof mascara, as you massage it into your skin. The removal of cleansing balm should be done with a damp clean cloth, and doing so helps polish and exfoliate your skin gently.
