Among the cast members\u00a0were a group of Sikh men, plus-sized curvy model Tess Holliday, an amputee, and hijab (Muslim headscarf) model Mariah Idrissi.<\/p> <p>The British-born Pakistani-Moroccan was reportedly scouted via <a href=\"https:\/\/instagram.com\/mariahidrissi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Instagram<\/a>, and then called up to join the campaign. She runs her own Moroccan-inspired nail, henna and makeup salon in London and models occasionally. The campaign aimed to encourage consumers to recycle their clothes and addresses the supposed fashion rules that have been set for decades - such as wearing red if one is a red head, the controversial <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/fashion\/trends-and-tips\/streetstyle-inspiration\/dont-5-fashion-faux-pas-reconsidering-118410.html\">socks-and-sandals<\/a> combo, androgynous dressing and more. Mariah Idrissi's scene rolls while the narrator mentions, <em>\"Look chic.\"<\/em><\/p> <p>The campaign is arguably one of the most inclusive fashion campaigns of all time, and is a large step in featuring Muslims in mainstream fashion. That said, more and more labels have recently been\u00a0opening up and targeting the large Muslim clientele, with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/food\/hot-spots\/recommended-spots\/ramadhan-rumbles-10-restaurants-break-fast-108315.html\">Ramadhan<\/a> collections being released for example.\u00a0<strong>Oscar de la Renta<\/strong> and <strong>DKNY<\/strong>\u00a0were among those that launched such lines, while\u00a0<strong>Christian Siriano<\/strong> looked to Middle Eastern fashion for his Spring 2016 inspiration and Uniqlo\u00a0launched\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/fashion\/latest-news\/new-collections\/hari-raya-aidilfitri-special-hana-tajima-uniqlo-110996.html\">its\u00a0collaboration with blogger Hana Tajima<\/a> for a hijab-friendly collection. While sustainable fashion was the aim for H&amp;M's campaign, we think it also did a remarkable job of addressing and including people\u00a0of various ethnicities, cultures and clothing styles that relate to a larger pool of customers.
