Everyone has their own beauty trick up their sleeve. Others have downright wacky beauty tips <\/a>involving anything from garlic to hemorrhoid cream.<\/p>

From snail slime moisturisers to fish pedicures, pretty much anything goes in the world of beauty. Women basically\u00a0willing to put anything on their faces in the name of beauty<\/a>.<\/p>

It's easy to see why, some of these beauty tricks may be weird but they sure do pique our curiousity. Bizarre beauty tricks may raise an eyebrow<\/a> or two, but the most unexpected things are the coolest.<\/p>

We\u2019ve scoured the Internet for crazy beauty secrets and offer them up to you for judgement. So here\u2019s our question of the day: do you dare?<\/p>

Hairspray to set makeup<\/span> <\/h2>

Turns out hairspray wasn\u2019t just the inspiration of modern makeup setting sprays, it was<\/strong> the original setting spray. Born in the backstage of runways, innovative makeup artists used hairspray to make sure heavy makeup stayed for hours under strong lighting. We won\u2019t recommend spritzing this sticky alcohol-laden formula on your skin, but if you got an extra special occasion and are game enough to try\u2026<\/p>

Eye cream to plump lips<\/span> <\/h2>

Now this one actually makes a lot of sense. The skin on lips is very much like those around the eyes, very delicate and prone to lines. Typical anti-aging eye creams are formulated to reduce wrinkles around the eyes. Patting the same formula on and around your lips can reduce lines, giving the appearance of plumper, fuller lips.<\/p>

Chafing cream to prime skin<\/span> <\/h2>

This tip is crazy, crazy genius that is! Chafing cream, or more accurately, Monistat Chafing Relief Powder-Gel, <\/em>is made up primarily of dimethicone, the same ingredient used in most silicone-based makeup primers. The chafing gel has a familiar gel texture that turns powdery when massaged into skin, much like Benefit\u2019s Porefessional. The difference is the pricetag. While brand name primers can set you back over SGD40, Monistat cost roughly about SGD8 in the United States.<\/p>

Hemorrhoid cream to reduce wrinkles<\/span> <\/h2>

Another pharmacy item that\u2019s more than meets the eye is Preparation H hemorrhoid cream. The SGD7 ointment contains a live yeast cell (LYCD) called Bio-Deyne that many claim can reduce wrinkles and even eye puffiness. It may be a cheap alternative to expensive $100 anti-wrinkle creams, but it's worth noting that the manufacturers of Prep H do not recommend using it for anything other than what it states on the label.<\/p>

Garlic nail polish to strengthen nails<\/strong><\/span> <\/h2>

We\u2019ve saved the weirdest for last. According to this Dominican Republic old wives\u2019 tale, chopping up garlic and marinating them in clear nail polish will make a decent nail strengthener. We\u2019re not sure if it\u2019ll work, but we are concerned about having to live with garlic-smelling fingers.<\/p>
