just a cosmetic brand without a purpose and their latest project proves how wrong that stereotype is.<\/p> <p>The Korean giant has\u00a0teamed up with a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/fashion\/latest-news\/fashion-conscience-uniqlos-shalwar-kameez-inspired-line-92539.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">non-profit<\/a> voluntary welfare organisation\u00a0<strong>Beyond Social Services\u00a0<\/strong>to kickstart its first local fund-raising campaign,\u00a0<strong><em>Uniquely-YOU<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p> <p>The aim is to raise SGD12,000, <em>'which will be used to inspire, educate and empower young people from disadvantaged and troubled backgrounds'.<\/em>\u00a0Hence, based on the number of BB Cushions sold, the team will be pledging an amount of money to the cause.<\/p> <p>The amount raised will then aim to keep troubled kids from disadvantaged backgrounds off the streets and escape poverty, while growing and nurturing a healthy <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/beauty\/whats-new\/beauty-news\/lady-gaga-wants-new-shiseido-campaign-115834.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">self-image<\/a>\u00a0and letting them chase their dreams.\u00a0\u201cWhat matters is what you are and not where you came from,\u201d said<em> Ms Doreen Chia, Brand General Manager, Laneige\u00a0Singapore.<\/em><\/p> <div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\"> <div class=\"layoutArea\"> <div class=\"column\"> <p>An update of the number of Laneige BB Cushions sold will be announced on their Facebook page at 11am daily.<\/p> <h2> <span>Road show for customers<\/span> <\/h2> <div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\"> <div class=\"layoutArea\"> <div class=\"column\"> <div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\"> <div class=\"layoutArea\"> <div class=\"column\"> <p>In addition to the campaign, Laneige will also be encouraging customers to express themselves confidently using their\u00a0products with a road show at Suntec City West Atrium, Level 1 from 28 September 2015 to 4 October 2015.<\/p> <p>The roadshow will include an inspiring story-sharing by their three campaign ambassadors: supermodel Sheila Sim, fashion stylist Keith Png and host, creative writer and online influencer Jemimah Wei - all of whom have undergone personal struggles with confidence.<\/p> <p>Customers who purchase Laneige BB Cushions during the roadshow will also have a chance to meet the well-known influencers and have them doodle on their Laneige BB Cushion pact on the 2-4 October
