Let's face it, the hotel you stay at for your vacation is part and parcel of the whole holiday experience. <\/a>From the exquisiteness of the decor to the\u00a0intricate details present in the bedroom and of course the breathtaking pools, there's nothing quite like feeling a million bucks while at your home away from home.<\/p>

So to celebrate all the good things put into making that experience truly one of a kind, the Smith Hotel Awards<\/strong> returns - for the third year running - to crown the best of the best in the world of boutique hotels.<\/a>\u00a0Given the honour to decide on that, the esteemed panel of international judges include, Charlotte Dellal, founder of Charlotte Olympia, Paul Gabie, CEO Proof & Co and Paul Semple, Principal, Hassell.<\/p>

With 12 categories to mull over and four judges assigned for each, by the end of it we'll get to uncover a whole slew of bests - ranging from\u00a0Best Hotel Pool<\/strong> to Sexiest Bedroom in the World<\/strong> and Best Spa Hotel.<\/strong><\/p>

James Lohan<\/strong>, Founder, Mr & Mrs Smith <\/a>enthused, \"The awards give us the chance to shine a light on small, independent stays like Uxua Casa in Brazil, which won Best Smith Hotel last year, and also to celebrate the classics. Our aim is to create the ultimate boutique hotel hotlist for 2016 with the 12 properties that come out on top. This year, we\u2019re joined by some great new judges too, from Rodial founder Maria Hatzistefanis to frequent traveller and fashion designer Henry Holland.\"<\/em><\/p>

Now to get things rolling, voting is open to the public at smithhotelawards.com<\/a> from now to 30 September 2015 and get this, voters will stand the chance to win from a bunch of luxury gifts thanks to\u00a0Smith\u2019s partners, including a \u00a31,000 Get a Room! Smith gift card, USD1,000 to spend on luxury lingerie at Kiki de Montparnasse, \u00a3750 credit for designer swimwear at Orlebar Brown and a limited edition Ruark radio.<\/p>
