Recently, it was revealed that if you want to look intelligent and sexy, the colour to have in your outfit would be none other than the good ol' trusty black. After all, the little black dress<\/a> is considered a sartorial success for a reason.<\/p>

However, if dresses<\/a> aren't exactly your cup of tea then go in the lane of tennis pro, Maria Sharapova<\/strong>, who stepped out in a chic Sportmax<\/strong> ensemble at the\u00a02015 American Express Rally last week. The outfit features an exquisite macrame lace top and cropped black trousers from<\/a> the brand's Fall 2015 collection that do enough to make hearts flutter. Exuding brilliant elegance, the\u00a0young Russian player completed her look with slicked back hair adorned with a thin black head band and T-bar heels. It's a look we're guessing the Audrey Hepburn of today would approve.<\/p>

While we would have loved to see a punchy hue added somewhere in the mix - some bright heels would have worked - that's not to say that we aren't impressed by Sharapova in switching things up from her usual dressy affairs!<\/p>

We would definitely give her the Grand\u00a0Slam of fashion.<\/p>
