For the first time ever, bars in Singapore will be participating in #NegroniWeek, a global initiative\u00a0which sees participating<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/food\/hot-spots\/insta-bars-10-bars-perfect-instagram-98461.html\"> bars <\/a>and restaurants donating part of the proceeds\u00a0from the sale of Negroni <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/health\/on-my-plate\/mojito-vodka-tonic-co-combien-de-calories-dans-les-cocktails-52426.html\">cocktails\u00a0<\/a>to a charity of their choice.<\/p> <p>Taking place\u00a0from 1-\u00a07 June, <strong>Negroni Week\u00a0<\/strong>will be\u00a0launched by Italian liqueur label Campari, in conjunction with\u00a0<em>Imbibe<\/em> magazine.\u00a0The event was first launched in 2013 by <em>Imbibe<\/em> and taps into the rise in popularity and demand of the classic Negroni, the most simple of cocktails made from an\u00a0iconic mix of gin, Campari and sweet red vermouth, said to be created by accident in 1920 by Count Camillo Negroni.\u00a0A Negroni is not what it is without Campari, hence the apt <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/fashion\/latest-news\/hmbalmaination-balmain-x-hm-collaboration-96707.html\">collaboration<\/a>.<\/p> <p>Local bars that have confirmed their participation in \u00a0#NegroniWeek include <strong>Ah Sam Cold Drink Stall<\/strong>, <strong>Bitters &amp; Love<\/strong>, <strong>KU D\u00c9 TA<\/strong>, <strong>Manhattan<\/strong>, <strong>Tess Bar &amp; Kitchen<\/strong> and <strong>The Secret Mermaid<\/strong>.<\/p> <p>So Singaporeans, your green light to imbibe for a good cause is here- make it count!
