The story of the unlikely sandal<\/span> <\/h2>

There was once a story about a mediocre-looking\u00a0footwear<\/a>: the pool\u00a0sandals.
She once asked the mirror if she was beautiful, but she didn't get an answer.\u00a0From an early age, as a result of\u00a0bad tastes, the sandal has been left\u00a0unloved and mistreated by women because of her\u00a0unflattering plastic demeanour. However, the lifeguards defended the footwear tooth and nail, arguing that they are comfortable and relaxing.
By the early 70s, Adidas concurred and released its\u00a0own model, dubbed the 'Adilette\". Then the\u00a0trend commenced. The unlikely\u00a0slides\u00a0were worn at the beach with big white sports socks. They were called names, such as\u00a0\"flops\" or the unfortunate \"fashion faux pas.\"<\/p>

Revenge of the slides<\/span> <\/h2>

When the slides overcame the hate, and successfully eased into the fashion scene, she turned into a kind of footwear that fashionistas called\u00a0beautiful. Fashion shows, magazines, and shops started featuring the newfound slides<\/a>. The sporty hybrid\u00a0became an easy alternative to sneakers in the summer.<\/p>

Now, the slides are confidently cozy. They go with any embellishments: sequins, studs, platforms, leather or metal details.<\/p>
