Fans of British supermodel Cara Delevingne<\/a> will be eager to catch her in cinemas this July\u00a0when she makes her silver screen debut in Paper Towns,<\/em>\u00a0the movie adaptation based on John Green\u2019s\u00a0best-selling novel of the same name.\u00a0<\/em>Better known as Cara the model, the 23 year old has never been shy about\u00a0her aspirations to conquer Hollywood. While we're yet to see if her acting chops match her catwalk stomp, she certainly isn't the first model to make the transition from runway to big screen<\/a>.<\/p>

It's no surprise that some of the most famous faces in showbiz today actually started off as models<\/a>, their good looks no doubt helping ease the transition and open many doors for them in this looks obsessed industry.
