In this age of filters and photo apps, it is easy to fake a flawless complexion. Have a zit? With the touch of a button, it disappears. In real life, however, it might be a little tricky but with these tips you'll be able to achieve an airbrushed look effortlessly.<\/p>

Do we need an airbrush? No but with the right products and techniques, we will be able to mimic the look as closely as possible.<\/p>

Step 1: Exfoliate<\/span> <\/h2>

An airbrushed look is one that is free of dead skin, bumps, etc. When products are applied over a canvas that is not smooth<\/a>, it might appear patchy. Start off by using a gentle exfoliator.<\/p>

Step 2: Moisturize<\/span> <\/h2>

Exfoliating may strip moisture off your face. Replenish your face with much needed hydration\u00a0by using an oil-free moisturizer. Such moisturizers are lightweight and can be easily absorbed into your skin.<\/p>

Step 3: Correct and Conceal<\/span> <\/h2>

The first step to achieving an airbrushed look is to correct and conceal<\/a> any spots or blemishes. Use your fingers to warm the concealer up. This makes application much easier and a little dab will be able to go a long way. When concealing dark circles, use a salmon-coloured concealer to correct any darkness.<\/p>

Step 4: Apply foundation or loose powder<\/span> <\/h2>

Now that you have achieved a clean and concealed base, go in with either a matte <\/a>or satin foundation or loose powder. Apply the product using a buffing brush as this will create a polished canvas<\/p>

Step 5: Seal the look with colour<\/span> <\/h2>

Seal the look with cream blushes, highlighters or lip creams. The use of cream products mimics the look of a naturally flushed look. Finally, set your makeup with a makeup setting spray of your choice.<\/p>
