There are two kinds of people in this world \u2013 those who love to hog the limelight 24\/7 and those who are content to share their 15 minutes with others.\u00a0If you\u2019re a bride-to-be who has asked your celebrity best friend to be on bridesmaid duty<\/a> at your wedding, well, you better belong to the latter category!<\/p>

It\u2019s no secret that celebrities are constantly in the spotlight<\/a>, whether they\u2019re out and about promoting their latest film or just hopping round the corner for breakfast in their sweatpants.<\/p>

So when a celebrity plays bridesmaid at your wedding, be prepared to share some of the limelight with them \u2013 as was the case recently when Sofia Vergara wasn\u2019t in character and was on bridesmaid\u2019s duty at her friend\u2019s wedding.<\/p>

The Modern Family<\/em> bombshell stunned onlookers in a buttercream yellow dress and even shared a picture of herself enjoying some wedding cake at the reception, writing \u201cIt\u2019s bad luck if you don\u2019t eat wedding cake.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

We\u2019re sure Sofia and her newlywed friend had a terrific time but the Hot Pursuit<\/em> actress is not the only celebrity to step into the role of bridesmaid this season as plenty of other famous faces donning bridesmaid\u2019s gowns in our gallery will prove.<\/p>
