Robinsons, the one-stop shopping destination well-regarded by many Singaporeans is celebrating its 50 years as a style <\/a>icon with a host of exciting activities lined up to commemorate the milestone.<\/p>

The landmark celebration coincides with the momentous SG50 and Robinsons <\/a>seeks to tell its story through hand drawn illustrations by local artist Tang Wei. Going with the theme \u201cShe Followed Her Heart\u201d<\/strong> the story depicts a young lady who embodies the ethos and style of each decade from the Swinging 60s to The Fabulous 70s right through to The Extraordinary 2015.<\/p>

Visitors to the Robinsons event will also be treated to a spectacular outdoor \u201cFashion Show of the Decades\u201d by Singapore\u2019s most prominent fashion director Daniel Boey. The showcase is sure to take you down memory lane as models present looks that represent a timeline of the country\u2019s evolving style from 1965 to the present. At hand to entertain the crowd will be Jive Talking and 53A who will be belting out classics through the eras.<\/p>

Adding to the festivities will be a slew of irresistible promotions and activities for customers to enjoy a good time while they shop.<\/p>

So join in the celebrations and throw your support behind one of Singapore\u2019s national icons for a Thursday of fun, fashion and good deals.<\/p>

Fashion Show of The Decades will be happening on 6 August at Robinsons The Hereen from 6.30 - 9.30pm. Spend SGD50\u00a0and enjoy complimentary bespoke cocktails made by experts from The 1872 Clipper Tea Co.<\/em><\/p>
