It certainly looks like the indie <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/culture\/entertainment\/tv-and-movies\/unsung-stories-10-must-watch-music-documentaries-108840.html\">music<\/a> scene is alive and flourishing in Singapore, but what about local indie acts? Are they privy to as much love and support from Singaporeans as their international counterparts?<\/p> <p>No matter, because our local indie acts are about to get a leg-up with the arrival of <strong>TinHill Rockfest 2015<\/strong>, an inaugural outdoor indie rock fest that celebrates the best of home-grown Indie rock music in Singapore.<\/p> <p>The festival is the Bukit Timah constituency\u2019s contribution to the <strong>PAssionArts Festival 2015<\/strong> as part of of its 60<sup>th<\/sup> birthday celebrations this year.<\/p> <p>So if you have a passion for discovering up-and-coming musicians and want to see what the underground music scene in Singapore has to offer, head down to the Merlion Sports City at Bukit Timah for a 9-hour music extravaganza where 9 of the top <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/culture\/entertainment\/eye-spy-8-indie-places-watch-atypical-films-91356.html\">Indie<\/a> rock acts in Singapore like\u00a0<strong>Anechois<\/strong>, <strong>Caracal<\/strong>, <strong>Charlie Lim<\/strong>, <strong>Havana Social Club<\/strong>, <strong>Inch Chua<\/strong>, <strong>Plain Sunset<\/strong>, <strong>Pleasantry<\/strong>,
