Why we love it:<\/span> <\/h2>

When my colleagues saw me toting these babies around the office last week, they thought something was wrong. What? No heels? Something has to be wrong!<\/p>

As someone who is known for having a\u00a0penchant for sky-high heels - and is hardly ever seen wearing flats - even I couldn't comprehend why I ditched my stilettos in favour of this particular pair of\u00a0Melissa Backless + Alexandre Herchcovitch<\/strong> oxfords from their recently-launched\u00a0Fall\/ Winter 2015\u00a0collection<\/a>.<\/p>

But seriously, look at them! Super trendy, comfy and oh-so-cool, they have so far transformed any outfit I've worn into a stylish statement and I've lost count on the amount of compliments I got for them. Teaming\u00a0them with\u00a0a figure-hugging sporty chic dress or\u00a0denim hotpants and a t-shirt combo, they have proven to be the most versatile pair I've ever owned.<\/p>

Remodelled after the famed open\u00a0oxford shoes by Alexandre Herchcovitch, and along with the designer himself, Brazilian eco-friendly brand Melissa has taken this androgynous pair\u00a0and put a delicate spin on it\u00a0that appeals to the fussiest high heels <\/a>fan out there including myself.<\/p>

The fact they are slim and quite edgy yet feminine means\u00a0they are\u00a0flattering and could go well with anything from a floral\u00a0dress to a\u00a0pant-suit.<\/p>

Available in white (my favourite), black, navy blue and burgundy - we reckon you too should get your hands on one before they fly off the shelves!<\/p>
