Resort, cruise, holiday... call it what you want, the in-between-seasons collections are\u00a0back. Over the past weeks we saw collection after collection of lines held at\u00a0peculiar venues (live-grammed by top bloggers, no less),\u00a0unique presentations and clothes nothing short of flawless.<\/p>

Themes ran in different directions, from earthy khakis to embellished<\/a>\u00a0everything to Coachella-inspired pieces.\u00a0The designers had concepts within concepts and stories within a bigger picture. Riccardo Tisci brought Givenchy<\/strong> to the streets - literally - in muted greens\u00a0and layered coats. While the House of de La Renta<\/strong> pulled out all the stops in mature weekend looks alongside the label's signature\u00a0work - ball gowns.<\/p>

This season also seemed to be the comeback of the kitten heel. Long forgotten and quickly replaced by sky-high stilettos<\/a>, stacked heels and today's anti-fashion poolside slides. So it's refreshing to see a new take on what some have previously\u00a0dubbed the 'baby carrot heel'.<\/p>
