\u201cAs the week prior to our workshop was stressful to say the least<\/a>, the fact that the venue was set in a relaxing and scenic environment helped ease everybody's nerves instantly. I personally liked the team-building activities which helped us bond and focus over a common task\u00a0and have as we emerged with an interesting insight into what it means to work together for a collective goal. \u00a0With delicious cupcakes bearing our names, countless espressos and cosmos to end the day with - really, who could complain?\u201d<\/p>

\u201cWho would have thought of holding a corporate workshop within the verdant grounds of Sentosa? Well, we did. The Singapore Resort & Spa's Celebration and Events venue was no doubt the ideal location to bring the office out of its mediocrity and into a refreshing atmosphere. We kickstarted the day-long workshop with some teambuilding activities by Focus Adventure and that in my opinion was the highlight. I got to see a different side of my colleagues and it was all in all a fun, laid back and yet insightful activity, where we learned to work together and improve communication in order to achieve our end goal.<\/p>

Finally, I can't deny that the location itself was the biggest draw. It felt a lot like a retreat but yet it was an ideal location for ideas to flow freely without feeling restricted, as the walls of an office or meeting room may tend to do.\u201d<\/p>

\u201cLush scenery, sea view and peacocks\u00a0-\u00a0it was definitely an appreciated change of setting from our usual in the\u00a0CBD<\/a>, the fact which I think got us all in a cheerful mood right from the start. The sheer size of the hotel grounds made it a proper getaway. I'll be sure to come back soon to enjoy the villas,<\/a> the waterfall pool and the mud baths!\u201d<\/p>

\u201cThe setting was remarkable\u00a0with a beautiful view overlooking the sea, in a green luxurious environment. It felt as if we were outside of Singapore, out of time.<\/p>

Personally, I appreciated the attentive service, from the buggy driver and valets to the waiting\u00a0staff and banquet organisers. They\u00a0were also prompt to accommodate any changes we had.<\/p>

The activities we were offered were a lot of fun and helped us connect more with each other. That was also a great way to start the day.<\/p>

The cherry on top? The customized cupcakes - a great and delicious surprise indeed!\u201d<\/p>

\u201c<\/strong>Nice place for a cosy and luxurious\u00a0MICE event. Th location is very prestigious and it was quite impressive that every operation from the activities to the dining choices was\u00a0customisable.<\/p>

All of sessions were well-organised\u00a0and at the end of the day, all the team was happy at\u00a0Reworld Media's 2015 workshop @ The Sentosa Resort & Spa. So was I.\u201d<\/p>

\u201cOur workshop in The Sentosa Resort & Spa was very exciting. It is always nice to be able to work in a place like this. Everything was perfect, from the location to the atmosphere. The meeting rooms are comfortable and very scalable. The\u00a0change of the room set-up\u00a0between the morning and the afternoon is very interesting especially to create a strict or cool atmosphere. The lunch was very good as well but I would have\u00a0loved to have\u00a0it outside\u00a0near the swimming pool (my Singapore-based colleagues might disagree on this one). The staff were\u00a0very professional and helpful and we felt that our\u00a0comfort was\u00a0very important for them. The highlight was\u00a0having the\u00a0cupcakes with our company's\u00a0logos\u00a0printed on them! To sum up, it was a very productive\u00a0and enjoyable day for the whole team.\u201d<\/p>

\u201cTo take mundane strategy meeting out of office was a<\/a> really great idea. Singapore Resort & Spa was tranquil and beautiful, it is not difficult to get inspired in a setting like this. On top of that, the event organizers added personal touches to the meals and tea breaks. We even had\u00a0our names on the cupcakes! Though the meeting can be intense, the relaxed setting of the meeting room with sofas and beanbags made it more homely and comfortable, which encouraged everyone to share their ideas freely, this makes the meeting a much fruitful one.\u201d<\/p>

\u201cBeing the newbie in\u00a0the team, the workshop is just the thing to help me familiarise myself with the company\u2019s operations and the part that\u00a0everyone plays to move Reworld Media forward!<\/p>

The offsite setting of The Singapore Resort &\u00a0Spa Sentosa amidst the lush greenery and ocean view is a truly great to make you\u00a0stop, think and possibly rethink the route ahead. Being out of our comfort zone - i.e. \u2018the office\u2019- the environment and the activities that were planned for us, really did help simulate creativity and give us a different perspective on things.<\/p>

But my favourite aspect of the workshop has to be\u00a0the opportunity to interact with my colleagues at length on\u00a0\u00a0both work and personal fronts. There\u2019s never a dull moment with this bunch of \u2018les gens fous<\/em>\u2019. =)\u201d<\/p>
