Conceptualized from a Gallup Poll in 2012 when<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/lifelove\/entertainment-lifelove\/nook-cranny-8-places-singapore-get-away-crowd-92012.html\"> Singapore<\/a> was rated as the most emotionless and unhappy nation in the world, the project by Clarke Quay Central, in partnership with <strong>Fuji Xerox Singapore<\/strong> intends to prove that Singaporeans are happy and do feel <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/lifelove\/entertainment-lifelove\/why-women-watch-weepy-movies-85439.html\">emotions<\/a>.\u00a01,909 smiling portraits were collected and laid out in<strong> Clarke Quay Central,<\/strong> breaking the Singapore's Book of Records for the \u2018Largest display of photos'.<\/p> <p>Better yet,\u00a0Fuji Xerox Singapore has pledged to\u00a0donate $5 for every picture collected till 3 May to Singapore-based children's charity <strong>Beyond Social Services<\/strong> -\u00a0 to enable and empower children and youth from less privileged families and\u00a0help them achieve better opportunities in life.<\/p> <p>This year's Smile Singapore campaign coincides with Singapore's 50th birthday celebrations, so naturally, a little twist is involved. Instead of just<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/health\/healthy-practices\/smile-makers-are-you-satisfied-with-your-sex-lives-87342.html\"> smiling<\/a> for the cameras, the public are\u00a0welcome to share their happiest moments of living in the Little Red Dot we call home as well as discover the top 3 reasons Singapore makes her people happy.<\/p>  <p>A smile is the only curve that sets everything straight. So come one, come all and let's be a part of the happiest event in Singapore!<\/p>  <p><em>Smile Singapore takes place on Wednesday, 29 April till 3 May from 5-6pm at Clarke Quay Central.
