Are you sitting at the edge of your seat, impatient and\u00a0all giddy\u00a0at the thought of sharing your latest endeavour on social media, on Twitter, Instagram,<\/a> Facebook, Snapchat or maybe... all of them? Then there is no doubt you are a part of the current internet-crazy generation.<\/p>

Theoretically, a digital detox<\/a> is what we\u00a0need, but in reality, having a digital presence is the holy grail of this generation.<\/p>

A PhD student at the University of Edinburgh, Ajit Johnson<\/strong>, created a series of meme based illustrations he dubbed #ThisGeneration<\/strong> to mock on our dependency on the internet.<\/p>

As laughable as the illustrations are, you must admit they are \u2014 unfortunately \u2014 precise. The devices in our possessions\u00a0have greatly changed the way we live and interact with our family and friends, and not entirely in a good way. Nowadays we\u00a0spend more time staring at our screens<\/a> rather than living our \"real\" life.<\/p>
