\"After almost 4 years in Singapore, I can confidently say that Urban Bites in the only authentic Lebanese restaurant in town. And spoken from a born and bred Lebanese, you just have to take my word for it. While I'm mostly eating local and various kinds of food around here, I love going there when I miss all the yummy dishes from back home. Everything in their menu - especially the generous mezze platter which reminds me of home, and the delicious kebbe and cheese rolls... You just have to try it to know what I mean.\"<\/p>

And the only place in Singapore that has accomplished that is the Dongbei Mei Shi Fan Dian in Chinatown. There are many Northeastern Chinese food places dotted around Chinatown, but the only one worth visiting is the extremely crowded one just after the whole row of bak kwa<\/em> shops. I always order the same 3 things when I'm there, Dry-fried French Beans, Salted Egg Pumpkin and Guobao Pork - a sweet and sour pork dish coated in tapoica flour batter. It's best to go with 3 or more people to fully enjoy their dishes and barbecue skewers with spicy powder. Ok, I'm going there tonight<\/span> after telling you all this!\"<\/p>

While the aesthetics already sealed the deal for me, the food and coffee easily raised Pacamara up a few more notches to become my favourite cafe to date. What\u2019s not to love about perfectly poached eggs drenched in hollandaise sauce, lying on a bed of smoked salmon? Definitely my weakness. My only qualm? The truffle fries could have been a tad crispier and a tad more truffle-y.\"<\/div>
