When we were kids, we were so enamoured by fairy tales that every day we dreamt of dressing up in stunning princess dresses with our hair coiffed elegantly in an updo or a side braid, only to have prince charming whisk us away to happily ever after. Admit it, you did too.<\/p>

Well, as everyone gears up for the release of the first live-action film adaptation of the classic fairy tale, Cinderella<\/strong>, Lily James<\/strong>, who plays Cinderella herself, stepped out <\/a>in a jaw-dropping blue Elie Saab couture gown for the US premiere of the movie. Adorned with beautiful silk floral embroidery, the 25 year-old no doubt looked like a true princess<\/a> in the voluminous gown. While not pictured here, the actress completed her look with a Charlotte Olympia box clutch that came with a clock face - rounding up the Cinderella theme<\/a> to a perfect T.<\/p>

As for her makeup, Lily James kept it relatively neutral with just a tinge of rosiness brushed onto the apples of her cheeks and her hair was slicked back into an elegant bun at the nape of her neck.<\/p>

Ahhh, now if only our fairy tale dream would come true.<\/p>
