It relies on users to\u00a0report a post to the Facebook team to review. If there are\u00a0any <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/lifelove\/coaching-lifelove\/i-though-suicide-was-the-only-exit-65436.html#post-65436\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">suicidal thoughts<\/a> detected, the disheartened user will receive a notification indicating a\u00a0friend has attempted to help. Facebook also offers suicide prevention services.<\/p> <p>The feature plays off a\u00a0reporting feature implemented in 2011,\u00a0which passed details to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline in the US and the Samaritans in the UK.<\/p> <p>\"Keeping you safe is our most important responsibility on Facebook,\" says <strong>Rob Boyle<\/strong> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/fbsafety\/posts\/817724748265365\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Facebook Safety team<\/a>. He also noted <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/lifelove\/entertainment-lifelove\/voici-comment-facebook-trie-vos-pages-daccueils-52918.html#post-52918\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Facebook'<\/a>s collaboration with relevant organizations\u00a0such as\u00a0Now Matters Now and the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
