Singapore's relatively steep humidity index has resulted in one too many skincare<\/a> products that are either too greasy, too harsh, too thick or way too ineffective. Hence, to bring some solace, the newly minted, Singapore-based brand, EHA Skincare<\/strong> carries a selection of specially formulated products entirely suitable for Asia's humidity levels and are gentle enough for sensitive<\/a>, acne-prone and congested skin as well.<\/p>

While the Japan-made products are completely lightweight<\/a>, that's not to say that their delivery is any light. Packed with a slew of potent ingredients such as Evening Primrose oil, algae and seaweed extract, the products are filled to the brim with benefits promising to effectively nourish your skin and keep it radiant and supple.<\/p>

We gave the range's Gentle Exfoliating Gel and Moisturising Gel a go and here's what we thought about it.<\/p>

How does it work:<\/span> <\/h2>
EHA Gentle Exfoliating Gel<\/strong><\/span> <\/h5>

The word 'exfoliate' tends to bring to mind harsh granules that scrub away at the surface of your skin but with advancements in skincare, that's not the only way to exfoliate. This particular exfoliating gel is so gentle that it can be used even on sensitive skin and yet packs a mean exfoliating punch, by removing dead skin cells and keeping the layer beneath clean and refreshed. Infused with\u00a0ingredients like Evening Primrose oil, algae extract and glycerin for their antioxidant, hydrating and whitening properties, the skin will look more radiant without\u00a0any greasy after-feel.<\/p>

With a few pumps, gently massage the product in circular motions around your face and soon you'll notice little flecks - that are essentially dead skin cells - appearing on the surface.<\/p>

EHA Moisturising Gel<\/strong><\/span> <\/h5>

Free of artificial activators and dehydrating alcohol this non-greasy gel\u00a0forms a protective barrier that locks in moisture and nutrients so your skin stays hydrated for longer.<\/p>

With Evening Primrose extract, seaweed extract, plant collagen, and Titanium Dioxide for sun protection,\u00a0this water-based gel moisturiser hydrates without leaving a greasy or shiny residue. Pump one time and spread the opaque gel all over your face and you'll notice that it immediately turns into a water-like texture that feels exceptionally light, making it ideal for Singapore's weather.<\/p>

Additionally, the product comes with a nifty design where you simply need to pump to obtain the gel rather than dipping your fingers into a jar of product. This prevents potential contamination, keeping it bacteria-free.<\/p>

Our verdict:<\/span> <\/h2>

Absolutely floored. First of all the exfoliating gel was exceptionally gentle and seeing the little flecks of dirt or dead skill cells 'coagulate' gave me a beauty high knowing that this product is actually working. While you can use it daily, you probably wouldn't have to because there wouldn't be much to exfoliate after perhaps 3 days of consecutive use. I suggest using it 2-3 times a week to ensure that your complexion stays sufficiently cleansed. As for the moisturising gel, now this is a godsend. Singapore is not a great place for piling on skincare or makeup so whenever a product promises to be light, I'm on it stat. This one basically proved to not just talk the talk but walked the walk as well. One pump is all you need to spread the gel-lotion formula all over your face and as it literally melts into your skin, you don't even feel like it's on you. And that's the main selling point for me, because it doesn't feel sticky or heavy. Definitely suitable for all skin types - from normal, oily to sensitive. Applied under makeup, I've also found it to act a lot like a primer, ensuring that my makeup stayed put throughout the day.<\/p>

All in all, these products are about to get their permanent position in my routine!<\/p>
