Here are some tips to help you.<\/p> <h2> <span>THE consistency\u00a0ABOVE ALL<\/span> <\/h2> <p>The <strong>World Health Organization (WHO)<\/strong> recommends 30 minutes of physical activity a day. This is the time required to prevent cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/health\/natural-healing\/heal-hypertension-naturally-64246.html#post-64246\">high blood pressure<\/a>; therefore, consistency\u00a0is hugely important. Moreover, a recent study conducted over\u00a015 years on more than 55 000 Americans aged 18 to 100 years old, showed that to run for five to ten minutes at moderate speed every day increases significantly life expectancy, and lowers the risk of cardiovascular diseases.<\/p> <h2> <span>TOO MUCH RUNNING, FEWER BENEFITS<\/span> <\/h2> <p>During the same study, it seemed that the biggest sportsmen were not necessarily those reaping the most benefits. Moreover, those who run for longer than 176 minutes a week saw the positive effects on their health decreased, compared with the more moderate sportsmen.<\/p> <h2> <span>A GOOD BALANCE<\/span> <\/h2> <p>The important aspect of running is to be regular. Thus, we recommend running 3 to 4 times a week with sessions of 30 minutes (if possible) at moderate speed to get the maximum advantages for your health.
