We're always itching for an excuse to go on a vacation<\/a> - no matter how short it is - and seeing that 2015 has thrown us a whole slew of long weekends, we couldn't help but jot them all down in our diaries.<\/p>

Well, to get things started, the first extended weekend comes during the festive Chinese New Year <\/a>celebrations. Whether you need a break from Singapore's crowded streets or if your family is not in the country, there's no other reason to not hop on a plane and escape to another locale - just for a bit at least.<\/p>
