Whenever we look for an outfit<\/a>\u00a0-\u00a0special occasion or not - we tend to draw inspiration from everywhere - the streets, blogosphere, social networks, magazines, TV, movies and so on. Then we land on a dress or a style we love and attempt to\u00a0reproduce the look. It\u2019s fun, but sometimes we can be so lazy and would just like to find the exact dress with as minimal effort.<\/p>

Thanks to the magical combination of fashion and technology<\/a>, this dream can now become a reality.<\/p>

The new website, Spylight<\/a>, enables us to shop instantly for the outfit worn by our favourite on-screen characters. The site teams up with production studios to source the exact wardrobe worn by the actor and actress on set - from the gorgeous accessories worn by Blake Lively<\/a> (as Serena) in Gossip Girl<\/em> to the stylish looks of Sarah Jessica Parker (as Carrie Bradshaw) in Sex and the City.<\/em><\/p>

How does this awesome innovation work?<\/span> <\/h2>

First of all, you have to select the TV show or movie.<\/p>

Then, to find the outfit you want to recreate, pick the character whose style you love. You can also browse by season, scene and so on.<\/p>

Once you choose the character, season or scene, a series of outfits will emerge on\u00a0your screen.<\/p>

Select your favourites and the site will list the exact garment and accessory worn by the character and redirect you to an online store that stocks them.<\/p>

The site provides similar look-alikes for the pieces that are not immediately recognised. And good news, it offers lower-priced alternatives to expensive pieces.<\/p>
