Marc By Marc Jacobs<\/strong> designers\u00a0Katie Hillier and Luella Bartley trusted Instagram to scout 11\u00a0models for the brand's Spring Summer 2015 campaign (read all the details here)<\/a>.\u00a0Shot by David Sims and styled by Katie Grand, the result is a fashion spread which is\u00a0an apt representation of the MMJ style<\/a>:\u00a0fresh and funky.<\/p>

What's in it for us? Well, one of the 11 faces to be chosen was Singapore's Nadia Kishlan,<\/strong>\u00a0who is no stranger to\u00a0the local fashion, design and arts scene. Nadia \u00a0was already a locally known it<\/em>-girl had featured in campaigns for local designers MashUp<\/a> and most recently Yesah.<\/strong><\/p>

But as the MMJ campaign is global - this was Nadia's first international\u00a0gig. Marie France Asia<\/em>\u00a0caught up with the talented - and may we say unconventional - beauty to see what she has to say.<\/p>

Marie France Asia: How does it feel being one of the selected 11?<\/strong><\/span> <\/h5>
Nadia Kishlan:<\/strong> It feels... weird. But it's amazing that there are only two people from Asia and I'm one of them. I would say [it's my biggest achievement] so far since Marc by Marc Jacobs is an international brand.<\/div>

Marie France Asia:\u00a0 How does the brand Marc by Marc Jacobs speak to your own personal style?<\/strong><\/span> <\/h5>
Nadia Kishlan:\u00a0<\/strong>Marc Jacobs is not afraid to take risks and I guess that speaks to me because\u00a0I'm pretty bold in dressing up.<\/div>

Marie France Asia:\u00a0 How did the shooting in New York go? How was working with David Sims and his professional team?<\/strong><\/span> <\/h5>
Nadia Kishlan:\u00a0<\/strong>David Sims was really good at directing; he knew what he wanted. I thought I would be really nervous but no, they made me comfortable. The whole team was friendly and accommodating. It was a good experience meeting people all over the world and we're still in contact.<\/div>

Marie France Asia:\u00a0 Why did you join the competition and what did you learn from your experience?<\/strong><\/span> <\/h5>

Nadia Kishlan:\u00a0<\/strong>I came across the ad\u00a0in an Australian magazine, Oyster<\/em>. I was really curious, so why not? I didn't expect too much from it; I was hopeful, but not too hopeful. I guess what I got from it is to never underestimate yourself and never see yourself short no matter what people say. You never know what your potentials are.<\/p> <\/div>
