Watching the livestream in full screen, in the dark with the curtains drawn was more than enough to allow my mind to effortlessly drift away to inside the Burberry Prorsum<\/a> tent in Kensington Gardens, London. As soon as the elegant vocals from British\u00a0singer-songwriter, Clare Maguire<\/strong> filled the room, my illusory trip was complete - for there I was seated with a front row view to the runway.<\/p>

Bespectacled models began their descend, decked out in paisley and floral printed shirts inspired by Durham quilts, mirrored pants and jackets, reminiscent of traditional Indian embroidery, which were topped off with brilliantly draped fringed shawls or sturdy long coats. The bookish and semi-rustic charm was contrasted with bold leopard and camouflage prints that perfectly rounded up these bohemian travelers - wanderers with a myriad of creative interests.<\/p>

Awash with dark, sombre tones of\u00a0green, ochre, camel, purple and charcoal, the looks were only at times given a subtle injection\u00a0of vibrancy by way of red and turquoise hues.\u00a0To store all the knick knacks while on artistic journeys, the Burberry Carryall proved to be the all important accessory, appearing in animal print shearling, nubuck, grainy leather, fringed\u00a0suede and camouflage print to suit a range of tastes.<\/p>

The collection reached a crescendo as Claire played 'House of the Rising Sun' while models trudged under a glitter storm as the classic show came to a sublime end with specks of silver confetti scintillating under the lights - unreal.<\/p>
