While some spend the remaining days of the year scampering to horoscope<\/a> websites to read all about what the coming year might have in store for them, and others go on the hunt for the hottest place to flock to\u00a0for the best view of the fireworks extravaganza<\/a>, we on the other hand, spend our last days anxiously crafting a wardrobe based on what\u00a0Pantone has defined as the colour of the next 365 days. For the year of 2015<\/a>, unlike the past few years where it was either a shade from saturated brights or pigmented hues,\u00a0a sombre, sophisticated, and sultry shade of red better known as Marsala\u00a0<\/strong>took home the grand prize instead.<\/p>

Grounded yet stylish, mature yet hearty - the versatility of this shade in being\u00a0able to take the form of your chosen persona knows no bounds. Definitely a\u00a0worthy investment for the long haul.<\/p>

Tuck a grey buttoned down shirt crisply into a leather marsala pencil skirt, along with patent pointed-toe pumps for the empowered women<\/a>, or simply match a marsala-hued jeans with a white washed muscle tee, topped off with a black wrap-around and a pair of chucks for the perfect off-duty look. For the more daring souls, pair a marsala oversized coat with navy\u00a0trousers and a mustard yellow crop top for a tastefully dramatic get-up.<\/p>

While this shade might not have gotten the most favourable of reviews with criticisms along the lines of it looking rusty and not the least bit classy, we, however, are definitely with Pantone on\u00a0this one.<\/p>

Anybody else raring to revamp their 2015 wardrobe's colour scheme?<\/p>
