And the fabled tale continues as REDValentino returns this season<\/a> with a continuation of the fairy tale inspiration. Instead of taking direct cues from the pages of our childhood reads though, this time, the Spring\/ Summer 2015 collection appears a tad more inspired in ways we never thought were possible.<\/p>

Coloured in soft pastel hues, lemon-yellows and the usual monochrome duo, the pieces are essentially a marriage between ethereal dreams and a\u00a0rebellious reality. While the silhouettes are comprised mainly of tulle skirts with box pleats, fit and flare dresses, shorts and maxis, the combination of subtle details such as the generous addition of grommets or the pairing of biker jackets with tutu skirts add a good dose of edgy flair to an otherwise largely feminine collection. Prints were kept on the down low with only polka dots, stripes, florals and anchors gracing a couple of the looks.<\/p>

As with every REDValentino collection<\/a> thus far, a lot of the attention is immediately shone onto the range of whimsical accessories that'll no doubt have you parting with your money in seconds. Honestly, how could anyone resist not owning the bedazzled clutch with a Cinderella shoe on it or the re-imagined glass slipper-heels?<\/p>

Since a princess<\/a> essentially has her own free will to experiment with whatever she deems fit, this collection is similarly a representation of that very outlook with its myriad of dichotomous and seemingly unconventional styling choices. It's safe to say that ultimately, a princess is neither a damsel nor in distress, she's the leader of her own imagination and sartorial sense.<\/p>

The\u00a0REDValentino Spring\/ Summer 2015 collection will be available\u00a0in stores<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>from January or February 2015.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>
