\"Not<\/span><\/a><\/p>

Sorry, but we're not really sorry!<\/p>

A recent\u00a0video campaign launched by Pantene entitled\u00a0\"Not Sorry #ShineStrong Pantene\" <\/strong>aims to show women that saying 'sorry' in unnecessary situations has become more of a reflex than a genuine act of apology. The ad\u00a0showcases women apologizing<\/a> in a variety of situations; at home, at work and so on. \"Sorry for asking a question at work\", \"sorry for asking for help with the children at home\"- do we really need to be that apologetic? And does this in turn have any effect on our self-esteem and confidence?<\/p>

The video continues with the same women in the same situations but without saying the\u00a0word 'sorry', showing them as more confident and assertive. Pantene wanted to show through the ad that\u00a0\"when you're strong on the inside<\/a>, you shine on the outside. And that's a beautiful thing.\"<\/p>

We couldn't agree more so why not follow our lead and make it one of this new year's resolution to stop being unnecessarily apologetic\u00a0and state\u00a0your point with more confidence instead?<\/p>
