Capturing the feel of Singapore executive wear is the crux of CYC<\/strong>. Since 1935, the company was the first one to offer customized shirts, while providing high quality executive wear in the market at the same time. This year, CYC\u2019s strong and positive brand image was\u00a0showcased for the first time at Digital Fashion Week Singapore<\/a>. As mentioned by the designer of this collection, youthful energy is the inspiration behind all of the 24 looks with only 4 female looks among it. A series of vibrant looks were created by simple patterns, including stripes and checks. The perfectly tailored matching suits and pants would easily become everyone\u2019s personal favourite when it comes to formal wear. Contrasting colours and details, mainly on the collar, pocket, and sleeves, gave a touch of sartorial style\u00a0without being too outlandish.<\/p>

This year's collection portrayed that CYC also caters to the younger market. The slim fit cutting on the tops and pants, as well as the tailored shorts, were perfect to be worn in Singapore's<\/a> quick-changing weather - from rain to shine.<\/p>

DFW 2014<\/a> is a good start for CYC's future plans, which is to expand more in terms of location and audience. Well, 8 decades contributing to\u00a0Singapore fashion industry is apparently not an obstacle for CYC as they\u00a0keep creating fresh new looks and ideas and managed to become a precursor in a niche market within the\u00a0local market.<\/p>
